About three weeks ago my Family, myself, and Paty were about to depart on the most incredible family vacation yet when I got down on my knees and prayed; Lord, I am confused, I am lost, I don't know what you want for this life or the direction you want me to go. I need a sign, something big that reminds me not to worry. You are in control. (I must clarify, I was not confused because we were going on vacation.. I, prior to leaving had no job, no money, and no real prospect.. That I knew of ;)
So off we went, setting sail to St. Martin. It was incredible.
On the 4th or 5th day.. I am not sure, I received an email with news that could make even Casa Heaven in St. Martin better. I GOT A JOB.
At first it was Kindergarten, then they moved me to First. The news came in at the perfect time to celebrate with the family that I got my first teaching job at Sylvan Park. PRAISE THE LORD!!
If this is all not enough to make even the saddest person smile.. There is more.
PATY ASKED ME TO MARRY HIM!!
What is even better is that he asked my parents the same day I got the news of my Job. Well Lord, If that was not a reminder that you have big plans for my life then I don't know what is..
It was the most incredible weekend of my life. Paty after the sweetest proposal that I can hardly remember because I was so filled with excitement, planned to have Allison, Ben, and Walker come into town to spend the weekend at the lake to celebrate with us. If that was not enough, Kennah and Janson got to come, minus the kids. Then Mom came into town and spent the entire week with me.
So I think this should be my last post as none will ever top the amount of love and excitement that has filled my life in the last few weeks. But God is good and I know there is only more greatness to come.
